Cesar Chavez has been the focus of much study to determine if the street and intersection can be placed over both directions of IH-35 while addressing ramp improvements. This particular approach requires changing how both directions of IH-35 go over/under this street, so we have looked at how the intersection could be rebuilt and not adversely impact the number of through lanes that are open. It appears that it can be rebuilt while maintaining six lanes of traffic.
