Construct a 4-lane elevated deck in between the existing upper decks to allow for 8 total lanes of thru-traffic on the upper deck. This new structure would be supported by single columns going down the median of the lower deck and tied to the beams on the upper decks. The lower deck could then be converted to downtown access express lanes from the north starting at Airport Blvd and the entrance going north would begin at the feeders at MLK. Along with this, eliminate ramps downtown and have one set of ramps from the north and from the south between Riverside and MLK to access the business district.

I saw this proposal illustrated in the Mobility 35 handout on page 41. I live near Airport Blvd and I-35, and take a short commute downtown everyday on the upper deck. Expanding the upper deck would only increase the danger of this section of road - making 4 lanes of high speed traffic like Ben White or 183, which are terrifying to drive and move across. And eliminating ramps downtown will turn I-35 into a high speed through road for trucks and commuter traffic, instead of the downtown artery that it currently serves. The most useful exit ramps: Manor, MLK, Enfield, 2nd-8th and Caesar Chavez are each indispensable to accessing different areas of downtown, ESPECIALLY when there are events like SXSW, parades, marathons, etc. I prefer leaving the upper deck as-is or removing it altogether. Focus efforts on improving the exit ramps at the lower level, as they are all way too short and seem to have a concrete column in the direct line of traffic.

This is a very good idea for construction, in this way we can make our life easy. If there are four track there is no problem in traffic problem and you can payforessay review an easy way. That's way i appreciate your decision.
